Speaker Bio: Steve Wilson is the Vice President of xVM within the Software group at Sun Microsystems where his responsibilities include leadership of Server Virtualization, Systems Management and Connected Services. His previous roles at Sun include leading development of the open-source NetBeans developer tools suite, as well as leading the Java Performance team which was responsible for the publication of 17 world-record benchmark scores. Steve is the lead author of the Addison-Wesley Java Series book Java Platform Performance: Strategies and Tactics.
