WebLayers announced the launch of its WebLayers Center 2.0, the first enterprise software that addresses the governance of XML, Web services, and service oriented architecture (SOA) from the development community up to the CIO's office. WebLayers Center includes extensive policy definition, configuration and management at the enterprise level, as well as strong conformance mechanisms via a set of checkpoints and enhanced conformance servers. The product suite also features advanced governance capabilities through active dashboards, which provide up-to-date compliance information and impact analysis reports that enable enterprises to direct and enhance the design and rollout of their SOA.

Using Active Enforcement, WebLayers offers a management interface that provides IT stakeholders (Architects, Project Managers and IT Executives) with the ability to visualize and direct their enterprise SOA development and conformance efforts.
