AltovaXML and XMLSpy Win Numerous Awards in 2007
Tools for advanced XML and Web services applications

AltovaXML, a free XML standards processor, was named “Best
XML Parser” and “Best XSLT Processor” in the 2007 SOA World Magazine Readers’
Choice Awards. Altova XMLSpy, an XML editor and development environment for modeling,
editing, transforming, and debugging XML-related technologies, won four awards
in 2007 including an “IBM CTO Innovation Award Certificate of Excellence” and “Best
of Tech Ed Awards 2007” in the Developer Tools and Technologies category.
AltovaXML, a free XML standards processor, includes the
following XML engines: an XML validating parser, an XSLT 1.0 and schema-aware
XSLT 2.0 engine, and a schema-aware XQuery engine. AltovaXML features COM,
Java, and .NET interfaces so it can be used in a variety of applications,
and its functionality can also be called from the command line. AltovaXML is
standards compliant, and as a key component of Altova’s XML tools it has been
used to build millions of XML-based applications.
Altova XMLSpy 2008 is an industry-standard XML editor and
development environment for modeling, editing, transforming, and debugging
XML-related technologies. It offers an XML editor, the original graphical
schema designer, a code generator, file converters, debuggers, profilers, full
database integration, support for XSLT, XPath, XQuery, WSDL, SOAP, and Office
Open XML documents, plus Visual Studio .NET and Eclipse plug-ins, and more.
