Cape Clear Software Names James Pasley as Chief Technology Officer
Company Veteran to Drive Evolution of Leading ESB Software

WALTHAM, Mass., Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Cape Clear Software today announced the appointment of James Pasley as chief technology officer (CTO). In his new position, Pasley assumes the role of Cape Clear's lead technologist and is responsible for ensuring that Cape Clear's enterprise service bus (ESB) technology supports the evolving needs of the company's global customer base.

"James is a technology authority who has proven himself time and again since joining Cape Clear, and we are thrilled to be part of his continued professional growth," said Annrai O'Toole, Cape Clear's CEO. "James' ESB- relevant experience is both extensive and diverse; he is the ideal person to drive Cape Clear's continued technology innovations."

Pasley, who joined Cape Clear in 2001 as a lead developer for Cape Studio, is a technology visionary boasting several years of experience implementing messaging and middleware standards. In 2003, Pasley was appointed to chief architect for Cape Clear, where he oversaw the development of Cape Clear's ESB. Prior to joining Cape Clear, Pasley worked for Siemens Nixdorf, developing secure X.400 messaging and public key infrastructure (PKI) solutions for a range of military and civilian products. James also served as a primary developer of the CORBA conformance test suite for the Object Management Group (OMG).

"Cape Clear is known as a technology leader, and recent innovations to our ESB -- including standards-based security and mission critical scalability -- reinforce our position as the benchmark by which other ESB providers compare themselves," said Pasley. "I'm excited to continue my work with Cape Clear and look forward to creating solutions that help our customers derive the most benefit from their technology assets."

Pasley holds a computer science degree from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
