Vizioncore Participates in VMware Virtualization Initiative

Server Virtualization Management Solutions Company Attributes Much of its Business Success to Outstanding Channel Partners

Vizioncore announced it is participating in the VMware Alliance Initiative, a co-marketing initiative that includes technology alliance partners from a broad range of technology sectors. These vendors have created custom VMware virtualization training and tools for channel partners, as well as financial incentives on the sale of their products combined with VMware solutions. These vendor incentives help provide additional profitability opportunities for vendor channel partners and reward partners for creating complete solutions for customers.

“VMware welcomes Vizioncore as part of the VMware Alliance Affiliate Initiative, which is aimed at helping increase partner profitability and joint solution selling,” said Steve Houck, vice president of worldwide channels at VMware. “Vizioncore is a longstanding VMware partner and with a robust reseller program and valuable management solutions for the VMware platform, particularly in the areas of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Vizioncore’s solutions are helping companies address these important issues affordably and reliably.”

“This initiative is just one more validation of the impressive success and leadership role Vizioncore continues to build in the burgeoning virtualization market,” said Mike Coffman, vice president of Corporate Development for Quest Software. “We recognize the bond and mutual vision that Vizioncore has developed with its reseller channel, which has not only generated accolades like this, but also driven impressive new levels of revenues and expansion for our virtualization business. We continue to look forward to great things from Vizioncore and its channel as the adoption of virtualization continues to grow in the coming years.”

Vizioncore, which operates autonomously as Quest’s Server Virtualization Management Group, also acknowledged their channel partners were a significant factor in making the first half of 2008 the best performing period ever in Vizioncore’s history. Vizioncore successfully uses a go-to-market model that depends on third-party value-added distributors and resellers who have specific virtualization expertise to help customers ensure data protection and business continuity, optimize server performance and cost, and support major initiatives such as “Green IT” through an impressive suite of virtualization management solutions.

“We are finishing our strongest half year ever, and we owe our dedicated channel partners a big thank you for our success,” said Chris Akerberg, Vizioncore president and COO. “Examples of this success include our first ever million-dollar deal that we closed recently with a major financial services provider, and the fact that we broke the 10,000 customer threshold this quarter. In the coming year, we will be launching new solutions, promos and initiatives to help our partners respond to greater customer demand for world-class virtualization products and services and help us close more enterprise-wide deals, and continue our rapid acceleration of customer adoption,” Akerberg added.

“Vizioncore is committed to the continued development of its industry leading virtualization solutions,” said Andrew Bull, Consultant with IVOXY Consulting, which specializes in data availability strategies for the enterprise. “They are feature-rich products that respond to the market by offering critical, needed functionality with each new update. We do not hesitate in recommending Vizioncore's products to our customers, as these products easily extend their return on their investments in a virtualization platform. Vizioncore is also equally committed to our business success, and we value the integrity consistently displayed throughout our partnership.”
