Stylus Says Studio Home Edition v2, "Completely Revamped"

Stylus' Latest Value-Priced XML IDE Available

Stylus Studio has announced the availability of Stylus Studio 6 Home Edition, Release 2. The latest update of their value-priced XML IDE for home and student users adds a completely revamped XML Schema Editor, updated support for XSLT editing and debugging, and hundreds of customer-requested usability enhancements.

Since its release less than one year ago, Stylus Studio 6 Home Edition has gained tremendous market share in the rapidly growing XML education and training industry. Students, professors, and leading XML training companies all recognize that XML proficiency is a must-have skill in today's application development market, and that Stylus Studio's intuitive XML editors and tools dramatically simplify learning of XML concepts.

"Stylus Home Edition provides an excellent environment for learning the ropes of fundamental XML technologies like XML Schema and XSLT. The ability to work in the actual XML syntax, or opt for a GUI driven environment, puts at the user's fingertips the interface that best suits their learning preferences. The result is a faster and more pleasant learning experience," said Don Smith, director of training Innodata Isogen, the world's leading XML training and consulting company.

Prof. Birnbaum, associate professor and chairman of the department of Slavic languages and literatures at the University of Pittsburgh, commented, "I tried several XML editors to accomplish my work, and settled on using Stylus - I'm also a big fan of Stylus Studio's integrated XPath search tools. Overall I am impressed with Stylus Studio's support for working with XML, XSLT, SVG and other key W3C standards."

Stylus Studio 6 Home Edition was specifically designed for the millions of XML enthusiasts currently learning or working with XML in educational, training, or home settings. The product, offered at $49 for a single-user license, was priced this way in order to bring it to a wide audience. The Professional Edition of Studio 6 starts at $495 for a single-user license. Teachers and students from qualifying learning institutions can take advantage of new academic programs that make Stylus Studio 6 XML Professional Edition available at a reduced cost.

Stylus is offering a new subscription-based license program that allows qualified colleges and universities to purchase Stylus Studio for an annual subscription of $99 per seat. The Stylus Studio annual subscription includes technical support and software maintenance, and you only need a minimum subscription level of 20 seats to qualify for this value-packed program.

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
