ATLANTA, Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- HVS Hodges Ward Elliot today announced the sale of the 133-room Dolce Fregate and adjoining two golf courses for an undisclosed price. HVS Hodges Ward Elliott acted on behalf of Dolce/AEW L.P., a joint venture between AEW Partners II LP and Dolce International. The buyer was the Inchydoney Partnership, an Irish investor, and Dolce Fregate is the third Dolce property they have purchased in the last 18 months.
"We remain very active in France, as investors' appetites for French hotel assets remain strong, particularly at the upper end of the market," said Rudy Reudelhuber, HVS Hodges Ward Elliott managing director. "This marks the 20th European hotel we've sold this year."
Located near Marseilles and Toulon Airports, within the Bandol AOC vineyard, Dolce Fregate is an elegant, four-star resort which has remained faithful to the architecture of Provencal villages. The hotel features meeting space that can accommodate groups of up to 200 people, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, 18- and nine-hole golf courses, tennis courts and a beauty salon.
Guest rooms feature furniture made of solid oak or of wood painted in pastel shades and terra cotta flooring. The white and yellow whitewashed walls reflect the traditional Souleiado fabrics, which creates a warm ambiance. Nearly all rooms enjoy an exceptional view of the sea and golf course from a balcony or terrace.
HVS Hodges Ward Elliot acts as sell-side advisor in European hotel real estate transactions.
