Unlocking Information through Enterprise Mashups, the JackBe Way

Today many services are not end-user consumable or in a 'mashable' state, the consequences of which were well summed up by IDC as long ago as 2006 when they wrote: "The monetary impact on the organization of wasted time is anything but small. For instance, an organization employing 1,000 knowledge workers loses $5.7 million annually just in the time wasted by employees having to reformat information as they move among applications."

Enter JackBe. One of the products within the Presto Edge family from JackBe is its enterprise mashup server, a flexible enterprise mashup server that provides users and developers with secure and consolidated access to disparate data from internal services, external services, and application databases.

JackBe, famous for its belief that "the user is the killer app," is also famous for enabling the development of Enterprise 2.0 applications with solutions that leverage SOA and Web 2.0 technologies.
