Intelligent Converters Released MSSQL-to-MySQL v6.1

Moscow, Russia, May 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Intelligent Converters released new version of MSSQL-to-MySQL, a program to migrate Microsoft SQL databases to MySQL server, enhanced with custom type mapping feature.

Both Microsoft SQL and MySQL database management systems have similar set of data types. Previous versions of MSSQL-to-MySQL converter automatically found the appropriate match for each type being converted. This feature allows users to change name, type and other attributes of every column during the conversion process.

"Our company is constantly expanding software capabilities to enable ultimate flexibility of the conversion process," said Vladimir Bilyak, CEO of Intelligent Converters. "Custom type mapping is the last step of this stairway, since it gives a user complete control over the data migration."

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
