SureMDM allows you to update SureLock and SureFox settings on your Android devices remotely. This means user interaction will not be required while updating SureLock and SureFox settings.
There are two ways of doing it:
- Instant Update for online devices:
This option can be used only for the devices which are currently online on SureMDM. You can view the current SureLock/SureFox settings for the selected device and make changes to it as well. Follow the steps below to view and edit the configuration instantly:
- Select an online device from the device list in the left of SureMDM panel.
- Now click on SureLock/SureFox button above device information to load the current settings.
- Once the settings are loaded, you can make your changes in the settings directly or you can paste your new settings in the Settings XML box. You also need to enter the current SureLock/SureFox password set on the device in the Password box above the settings before you can apply the new settings.
- Click on Apply button to finalize the changes and apply it to the device's SureLock/SureFox settings.
- Updating the settings via Jobs:
This method allows you to update the SureLock or SureFox settings using SureMDM's Job. A job can be applied to an online and offline device as well as a group of devices.
