The Co-Inventor of XML, Sun's Tim Bray, Speaks Out On Blogging, Web 2.0, XML, and the Future
While dismissing 'Web 2.0' (the phrase) as a bit of 'marketecture,' Sun's Director of Web Technologies, Tim Bray, nonetheless agrees - in this SYS-CON.TV interview with Jeremy Geelan - that 'We have turned the Web from a 'few-to-many' into a 'many-to-many' phenomenon.' Bray speaks here of 'writeable web' as being one useful alternative to "Web 2.0" - isn;t he also the one who talks of it as being a "read-write web"? Certainly both phrases are more nuanced than "Web 2.0."

Interesting what Bray says about 'The Perfect Storm' currently engulfing the intersecting world of software and hardware...to Sun's great advantage!
