WSO2, the lean enterprise middleware company, today announced that Isabelle Mauny has joined WSO2 as director of product management. Isabelle brings more than 18 years of technology, consulting and management experience in Java, application development, middleware, and service-oriented architecture (SOA), including 15 years as an IT specialist at IBM. At WSO2, she will focus on enhancing the company’s middleware products, platforms and solutions to maximize customer value.
Isabelle also will lead WSO2’s new office in Madrid, Spain. There she will support the growing number of enterprises and government organizations across Europe that rely on WSO2 middleware for their IT implementations, both on-premise and in the cloud. Isabelle is fluent in Spanish, French and English.
WSO2’s middleware includes its award-winning, 100% open source platforms: the WSO2 Carbon enterprise middleware platform and WSO2 Stratos cloud middleware platform, as well as the WSO2 StratosLive platform-as-a-service (PaaS), which is hosted by WSO2 and powered by the WSO2 Stratos software. Built on the same componentized code base, WSO2 Carbon, WSO2 Stratos, and WSO2 StratosLive give enterprises unmatched flexibility to migrate their applications on-premise, on a private cloud, public cloud, or hybrid cloud environment.
“We’re seeing a sharp rise in global enterprises that are making WSO2 their strategic middleware platform in order to take advantage of our high performance and fast, flexible deployment,” said Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana, WSO2 founder and CEO. “We are thrilled to have Isabelle join us in delivering on the demands of these enterprises. With her deep experience in enterprise middleware and product management, Isabelle will play a central role in bringing to market new capabilities that address organizations’ evolving IT needs.”
“I’ve known WSO2’s founding executives for years and have been impressed by their innovation in delivering a new generation of highly flexible, componentized middleware that enterprises can rapidly adapt to their IT project needs,” Isabelle said. “I am excited to join the WSO2 team in expanding the middleware platforms’ capabilities and delivering solutions that meet the real-world needs of global enterprises today.”
