BOSTON, Dec. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- DealGator, a website that takes the work out of finding and managing local daily deals, has launched in 21 cities in the U.S. and Canada. It is the first service that goes beyond simple deal aggregation by providing easy-to-use tools for advanced filtering of deals based on personal preferences and keeping track of coupons acquired from any deal site.

Daily deal sites use the power of group buying to offer deep discounts on goods and services from local businesses. The success of sites like Groupon and LivingSocial have inspired many new daily deal startups. Most cities now have 15 to 30 sites offering new deals each day.
"We're big fans of daily deal sites, but it was too much work to check them all and keep track of coupons from different places. We sometimes forgot to use our coupons before they expired," said Casey Rankin, co-founder of DealGator. "We couldn't find any tools that helped with these problems, so we decided to create one."
DealGator collects the deals from all the sites and organizes them into one personalized list. Each deal listing includes a business review from Yelp. The daily list is available to view on the website, in a daily email, or through Twitter. Members can easily customize their listing to avoid deals they aren't interested in.
DealGator also lets people keep track of all their coupons from multiple sites. Members can instantly add coupons to their list and setup email reminders so they won't forget to use them. They can also attach printable coupons.
DealGator is now available in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Toronto, and Washington DC, and is rapidly expanding.
