We now have 3 days until SYS-CON's iPhone Developer Summit in New York's Roosevelt Hotel. During the 2-day event, there will be nine presenters as well as exhibitors such as Sybase.
I'm guessing that for some like me, tomorrow Saturday will be travel day... so safe travels to you all and see you in the Big apple on Monday.
Sunday will be the final setup day and registrations will be open, as far as I'm aware late in the evening, in the Mezzanine level, above Reception.
Anyway here is the last of our presenters... last but no least.
A New Generation of Connected Games - Paul Croft - Director of Games, Mediatonic
Over the past 3 years Mediatonic has designed and build over 50 web and social games that have been played over 150 million times across the world. This talk will focus on the cross-over between web games and the iPhone and how the two platforms can offer mutual benefits to each other. We'll present multi-platform games we've worked on that span the iPhone and other devices with a candid analysis on development, distribution and the result of this with facts and figures for the audience.
Speaker Bio:
Since Co-founding Mediatonic 3 years ago Paul has grown the indie games firm to 16 people and was recently featured in Develop Magazines '30 under 30' feature on rising stars in the videogame industry. Mediatonic has worked with clients such as Sega, EA, Nintendo and Namco, responsible for bringing their content to the web in innovative new forms.
